Our Daily Routine
We welcome children first thing in the morning with our healthy breakfast club where children can choose their own cereal and tuck into some tasty toast.
At 9.00am children of all age groups sit together in groups to welcome each other orally and using Makaton signs.
Throughout the morning children enjoy lots of free play and focused activities.
Children are encouraged to pour drinks and access self chosen snacks in their own time.
Snacks and meals are always healthy and nutritious. They are often made with lots of involvement from our nursery children.
Daily Discussions and Rhymes
Between 11.00am and 11.20am children sit together where discussion takes place about the day, month, weather and any news or stories that the children may wish to tell.
Stories singing, dancing, ring games, listening to rhymes and musical instruments, both traditional and from other countries, follow so that children can develop Communication, Language and Literacy skills.
Dinner is served at from 11.30am onwards. Children are encouraged to choose what they want to eat and to self serve to promote independence.
