At SmartyPants we take pleasure in organising a variety of outings for the children, visiting places of interest such as parks, aquariums, libraries etc. This is achieved through walks or sometimes transport ie. nursery transport, bus or train.

We ensure appropriate staffing levels are adhered to at all times, taking into account the safety and individual needs of the children.

If children travel by transport offered from nursery, all children are suitably restrained using seatbelts, booster seats or car seats. The vehicles used are fully insured for the use of carrying all children.

Written consent is required from parents within our enrolment forms prior to such outings.

A mobile phone is carried by a member of staff at all times during outings and a member of staff is always at hand within the nursery if contact needs to be made regarding information or emergencies to staff or children on the outings.
